The Dashwood Mausoleum, West Wycombe, UK

On top of West Wycombe Hill, next to the Church of St. Lawrence stands the magnificent Dashwood Mausoleum. Originally a hill fort, the mausoleum itself was built in the 1760s and is an unroofed hexagonal structure with tall walls lined with local flint and topped with arches linking the walls. Today we’re celebrating #draculaday as we pay tribute to my favourite fictional character. World Dracula Day commemorates the publication date of Bram Stoker's Dracula on 26th May 1897.
Continuing with the NOLA theme here are some of the offerings left at the tomb of the voodoo priestess Marie Laveau, including some X’s made by visitors.

@highgatecemetery are currently trialling open access tickets (meaning you don’t have to have a tour guide to look around) it’s been my dream to walk around this magnificent cemetery on my own for years so today was a dream come true....I really wish I’d picked a cooler day to do it though! 🥵
